The obvious general solution is to isolate the creature from its environment as much as possible. This means your creature likely will be unable to maintain this superposition for any significant amount of time. However, your creature will presumably be living in the natural world, not in a laboratory - and there are plenty of sources of perturbations to cause decoherence. Quantum computers can use error-correction codes and high magnetic fields, among other things, to account for and mitigate this decoherence. In quantum computers, decoherence happens on timescales of tens of minutes even in a best-case scenario. Minute interactions with the outside environment - heat, light, vibrations - can all destroy the superposition of the qubits.

Edit2: Ive done some testing and food filling the bottom of the corral even slightly could start despawning slimes or making them dissapear.Handwaving away some of the problems here, one basic one appears insurmountable: Decoherence. Any thoughts? Edit: I found another fandom page with a similar issue i hope that this will help out as i found that toys could be related to the problem. I've maxed how fast food can be fired into the corral and have drones active 24/7 so the possibility of starvation if it was in the game (Im not sure) is also ruled out. Im certain my tangle/mosaic largos are not the issue leaving no clear reason for them to dissapear. i have a toy in there and are monotoring the screen every few minutes or so ruling out the ability for them to have escaped and make a dash for the sea. For some reason my dervish/saber slimes are despawning but my neighboring mosaic/tangle slimes are fine. Currently Im playing on Adventure mode (PS4 edition) and afk at the docks grinding to get my first million.
